Look at these gorgeous Black Locust Flowers. They are blooming everywhere here in Western Massachusetts. They give off a scent of sweet jasmine candy. Delicious! I can hardly stand it. Most of the blooms are really high in these tall trees, but you can find them at nose-level, too. They are actually a very tasty flower to eat with a strong burst of sweetness in each crunchy flower.

I am trying to take advantage of these blooms because I realize that appreciating the blooming plants is part of how I hold this season close to me. Spring goes by so quickly and, especially after that LONG winter here in New England, I find myself not wanting to let a moment of spring go by.
